This paste is used to detect water in containers that are filled with fuel, fuel oil or other, water-immiscible liquids. Due to the sharp color change, it enables both the reliable detection of water and measuring the height of an existing water layer. In dry and cool storage, the water detection paste in tightly closed tube keeps well. To improve the brushability when applied in the cool season, it is advisable to warm the tube slightly.
